Spaghetti with Garlic

“This pasta recipe is quick and easy to make, packed with a super-garlicky, spicy, buttery flavor, and is incredibly delicious!!

Ingredients:

1 pound dry spaghetti

1 large bulb of garlic (approximately 12 cloves), peeled and minced

8 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup dry white wine

1 teaspoon Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute (if it’s not in your pantry you can add 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, 1/2 tsp. thyme, 1/2 tsp. basil, 1/2 tsp. marjoram, 1/4 tsp. rosemary, 1/4 tsp. sage)

A pinch of salt, freshly-cracked black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.

Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make It:

  1. While the pasta water is heating, melt the butter in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for 4-6 minutes, occasionally stirring, until it is fragrant and starts to turn golden brown.

  2. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water. Cook pasta al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  3. Add in the white wine, seasoning, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic and butter mixture. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Add the cooked pasta to the seasoned garlic and butter mixture. Season to taste with extra salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if needed. Toss until combined and serve promptly.

  5. Garnish with fresh grated Parmesan cheese.

  6. Bon Appetit!
