My Family's Favorite Garlic Rice

“It’s Rice. But so good. You can’t stop eating it. Trust me!” - says, my husband, John

Ingredients:

1 stick of butter (I like grass-fed)

1 medium yellow onion, diced

3 TBSP minced garlic

2 cups Uncle Ben’s or Mahatma rice

4 cups chicken broth

How to Make It:

  1. Sauté rice in butter till translucent.

  2. Add diced onion and garlic.

  3. Continue sautéing until golden brown

  4. Add chicken broth and return to boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium- low and cook for 20 minutes.

  5. If you like the crunchy rice at the bottom as we do, continue cooking for 5 - 7 minutes so the rice gets crunchy at the bottom of the pan. (my favorite part!)
